The Sustainability Advisory Board (SAB) is an appointed board which advises the Board of Trustees on issues of sustainability, conservation, and renewable energy in Town facilities and operations. The current members of the SAB are:

  • Chris Perret, Chair, Trustee Liaison  - term expires June 1, 2012
  • (Open) - term expires June 1, 2011
  • Greg Ching - term expires June 1, 2011
  • Mo Fauvel  - term expires June 1, 2012
  • (Open)    - term expires June 1, 2012
  • (Open)  - term expires June 1, 2013
  • Greg Willson  - term expires June 1, 2013

The SAB meets on the second Monday of the month in the Nederland Community Center at 6:30pm.

The Next Meeting will be Monday, June 14 at 6:30pm at the Community Center.
Next meeting agenda:

  • We will discuss the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for Nederland Municipal Buildings.
Current Projects:
  • Sustainability
  • "Sustainability in Progress" presentation (Dec 2009)
  • Create Sustainability Plan and targets
  • Town Power Purchase Agreement
  • Advise BOT on sustainability in Town operations and investments
  • Find opportunities for funding and partnerships and flesh out ideas
  • Concentrate on goals of BOT projects and suggest new opportunities
  • Do background research on ideas prior to bringing concepts to BOT
  • Sustainable Wastewater Plant design
  • Community Center efficiency
  • Town Shop design
  • Water line recirculation
